"Come to the tichel sale with me."So we went to the neighbor who has a "tichel business." She sells from her home and does sales in other places, too.
"But I'm not shopping. No money, and you know that I crocheted a new hat for myself to wear on Rosh Hashannah." I had decorated it with beads and buttons in her house, under her supervision and encouragement.
"You'll be there to help me shop."
I helped her pick out a new one to go with a nice jacket I had once bought for myself. I gave it too her when it got too big for me.
So nice to have friends...
