Pass The Clothes Pins

It isn't Monday morning, and there's no Mulberry Bush in my neighborhood, but it's sure clothes washing day.

This is the way we wash our clothes,
We wash our clothes, we wash our clothes.
This is the way we wash our clothes,
So early Monday morning.

Thank G-d, we've had lots of rain recently. Of course, it doesn't make up for the recent years of drought, or this year's drought or the foolish and thoughtless waste of water. The Kinneret's much, much emptier than it should be. Even the frequently lowered "red line" is well above today's water line.

Our recent rain has washed the dust off of the solar panels many of us have to heat water. Of course it has given needed water to the trees and other plants. And every drop which falls to Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) and all the underground springs is welcome and precious.

Not only do we need more rain, we also must develop and activate every sort of water preservation possible.
