Conversation at the pool...
One neighbor said that she needed ideas, what should she bring a friend,
a Disengagement victim, Gush Katif refugee...
How could she possibly cheer her up?
cake, cookies, candy
soaps, creams, perfumes?
is there space for things that clutter
will she be annoyed if all the nosh makes her gain weight?
how about just take her out to a restaurant?
just get her out of refugee camp they call a "resort," last resort?
not pleasant
as we enjoy
one of our last swims of the season
being reminded
of others who are suffering
and the insecurity of our own homes
